He Sees, He Hears, He Delivers

ree

Have you ever been in a season where you felt like you were doing everything right—seeking God, praying, showing up for others—and yet life still felt heavy? Maybe you’ve cried out to God in your quiet time and asked, “Do You see me? Do You hear me?”

Friend, I’ve been there. And I want to encourage you with one of my favorite Psalms—Psalm 34. It’s a chapter that has comforted me in some of my hardest moments and reminded me that God is not distant. He is near. He is attentive. He is faithful.

Let’s walk through this together.

“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” – Psalm 34:1

David didn’t write this from a palace or a place of ease. He was running for his life. Hiding. Misunderstood. And yet—his mouth was filled with praise. Not because everything was perfect, but because he had a revelation of who God was in the middle of the mess.

This convicts and inspires me. How often do I let my praise be silenced by my pain? Psalm 34 reminds us that praise isn’t based on our situation—it’s rooted in our Savior.

Today, choose to bless the Lord—not just when life feels good, but even when it feels uncertain. Praise shifts our perspective. It gets our eyes off of what’s wrong and onto the One who’s always right on time.

“I sought the Lord, and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears.” – Psalm 34:4

This verse hits deep. Because fear has a way of creeping in even when we’re trying to stand strong in faith. But here’s the promise: when we seek Him—He answers. Not with silence. Not with indifference. He answers with deliverance.

Now, His deliverance may not always look how we expect. Sometimes it’s a shift in our heart before our situation changes. Sometimes it’s peace in the middle of the chaos. But always, He moves.

If fear has been whispering lies to you lately—reminding you of all that could go wrong—seek the Lord. Take your fears to Him and exchange them for His truth. He’s ready to meet you there.

“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18

This one gets me every time. Because life has its way of breaking us. Whether it’s loss, disappointment, betrayal, or unanswered prayers—we all experience moments when our hearts feel shattered.

But God doesn’t run from brokenness. He leans in. He gets close. The same God who spoke the stars into being draws near to the one with a crushed spirit.

Sis, if you’re reading this with tears in your eyes or weight on your chest, know this: you’re not alone. He sees you. He hears your whispered prayers. And He is near.

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.” – Psalm 34:19

Let’s be real—walking with God doesn’t mean we’re exempt from struggle. In fact, sometimes the closer we walk with Him, the more opposition we face. But this verse doesn’t end with “many are the afflictions.” It ends with deliverance.

That’s the kind of God we serve. He doesn’t promise an easy road, but He promises to walk every step with us—and to bring us through every trial, every hardship, every fiery furnace.

You may be in the middle of a battle right now, but you won’t stay there. Deliverance is coming. Keep trusting. Keep praying. Keep walking.

A Final Word of Encouragement

Psalm 34 is a beautiful reminder that even when life feels uncertain, God’s character is steady. He’s near. He’s listening. He’s delivering. And He is always worthy of our praise.

So, wherever this finds you today—whether you’re in a valley or on a mountaintop—I want to encourage you to anchor your heart in this truth: You are not forgotten. You are not forsaken. You are not alone.

He’s the God who sees. The God who hears. The God who delivers.

And He’s working on your behalf—even now.

Stay rooted. Stay hopeful. Stay in His Word.

You’re going to make it through.
